Fr. Stephen Willis (Parish Priest) Fr Stephen Willis (Parish Priest) was born in Worcester in 1965 and was a chorister at the Cathedral. In 1987, having read for a degree in Divinity, he began training for Orders in the Church of England at Chichester Theological College. He was ordained in 1991 and worked at St Matthew's, Bethnal Green. Soon afterwards, he decided to be received into full communion with the Catholic Church, along with most of the parish community of Bethnal Green. He was ordained priest by Cardinal Hume in 1996 and, since then, has worked at Soho Square (1997), Sudbury (1999) and East Acton (2000). In 2003 he was appointed parish priest of Our Lady of Willesden, while maintaining his role at St Aidan's, East Acton.
Rev’d Nicholas Schofield (Assistant Priest) Born in West London and educated at St Joan of Arc School, Rickmansworth, and Exeter College, Oxford. In 1997 he went to the Venerable English College, Rome, studying Philosophy and Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University. In 2001 he returned to Our Lady of Willesden, being ordained deacon on 29 June 2002. He has researched and written an illustrated history of the shrine and parish. Rev’d Nicholas Schofield was ordained priest at Willesden on 24th May 2003.
Sr Sheila Gosney, R.J.M. (Catechetical Co-ordinator) Sr Sheila is a Religious of Jesus and Mary – a Congregation of Sisters that has intimate links with the growth of the parish and the restoration of the shrine. She has been the parish Catechetical Co-ordinator, since 2001, bringing to the job an extensive experience of teaching (including a number of years in the Holy Land). Sr Sheila is also much in demand for her art and spirituality workshops.
